Flamingoland/Flamingo Park Ocean World

The current sea lion show tank was the dolphin/killer whale tank. A Guanaco (similar to a Llama) was kept under the tank circa 1975-1977.

Parts of the film "The Fruitmachine" were filmed at Flamingoland, at the ficticious "Wonderland" park. The hole in the wall had to be bricked up for the film and windows that would fit in with Brighton's (were the film was set) Georgian Architechture (possible even the Brighton Aquarium and Dolphinarium) were installed. See below. Brighton Aquarium and Dolphinarium was not used for filmed because unlike Flamingoland it did not have a closed season suitable for filming.
